So, howdy. Anyone still around? lol.
I've started a 6 week challenge over at "We are Slimming".
Been doing pretty darn good even if I do say so myself.
Although I can feel myself slipping a bit today. Think I'm just a bit worn out. Fathers Day in the shop is a bit busy. Plus I'm jealous Shaun has the whole day off again. I'm craving a whole WEEKEND day off. I get a few hours off here and there over the weekend. But I still work EVERY WEEKEND. Think I just need a good hard drink to get it out of my system again for a few months. Lol. A hangover always cures my alcohol craving.
So. Diet. Umm I started last Monday. Joined up with the gym down the street for 6 weeks. Bloody handy lil 6 week promo they had going! Good timing huh! Had to leave my other gym as it was just too far out of budget. I miss my trainer already though :(
I've been bloody good this week. A 3 day detox and REALLY healthy eating. I haven't been BAD once. I've had a few special snacks, like KFC last night for Shauns Dad's Day dinner. Early by request. But I made good choices and I was happy with myself. I bought a Greek Yoghurt snack the other day and made it last for 2 servings over two days. I still have another tub of plain low fat greek yoghurt in the fridge but I'm saving it for when I really get the need for a sweet. Like when Shaun and bubba boy are eating icecream after dinner.
I'm not weighing myself for 2 weeks. Thats gonna be one of my biggest challenges. You all know how much I love my scales (When they are good to me - otherwise I wouldn't care if they broke ;)
Instead I'm measuring my waist. So far it's down 6cm in 6 days. I attribute most of that to TOTM though to be honest. I can't see it shrinking much more so quickly.
I'll be getting up early tomorrow. I have a Cycle class at 6.15am. Lets hope it's as easy to get up this time as it was last Friday!
So many challenges going round at the moment. Guess we can all smell spring huh ;)
